  Chris Mortensen, NFL
There is a possibility that the owners may opt out of the current CBA. This will not affect the 2008 or 2009 season, but there is a good possibility that 2010 will be an uncapped year. Mort doesn't think there is too much to worry about right now.

  LaDainian Tomlinson
Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson stops by to take some questions from SportsNation. Fans ask him about sitting out in the playoffs, which backs in the class of '08 resemble his style and if he would embrace a two-back system if the Chargers adopted one.

  Todd McShay, NFL
Todd stops by to take questions from SportsNation on this year's NFL draft. Todd says the Chiefs will have to with offense even if Matt Ryan is off the board, but he thinks the Falcons will go with "Matty Ice" at No. 3 overall.

  Todd McShay, CFB
Todd says Darren McFadden going to the Raiders will make for the best fit. Jamarcus Russell and D-Mac will share the backfield together, and Oakland is in desperate need of more skill players. Matt Ryan to Atlanta may be the best fit for Atlanta.

  Steve Phillips, MLB
Phillips thinks Seattle's Felix Hernandez will build upon his hot start and have a breakout season in '08. He says the addition of Erik Bedard to the rotation has taken a ton of pressure off the young ace. Steve says the Brewers should rest Ben Sheets, and SportsNation asks him if the Royals can finish above .500.

  Jeremy Green, NFL
Jeremy helps us break down the running backs available in this month's draft. Aside from Darren McFadden, he thinks Felix Jones will be a great change-of-pace back at the pro level. Don't sleep on Ray Rice or Kevin Smith if they get into the right system.

  Keith Law, ESPN.com
Law says there's no way D-backs 3B Mark Reynolds can sustain the numbers he's put up so far. He thinks Reds phenom Johnny Cueto will win 12-plus games and Jason Kubel could hit around .300 for the Twins.

  Steve DiMeglio, USA Today
DiMeglio says Tiger is always the favorite against the field because whenever he plays well, he's unstoppable. He likes Phil Mickelson to win this weekend based on what he saw in the first round. We continue to ask SportsNation who will end Tiger's run.

  Eric Young, MLB
Eric says the White Sox can continue to surprise people as long as the Indians and Tigers don't start sweeping people. He doesn't know how the Cardinals have done it, but their rotation has impressed him so far.

  Fran Fraschilla, CBB
Fran says John Calipari should have called a timeout to set up his defense, especially when the play depended on rookie Derrick Rose. He also wonders why Bill Self changed defenses and let Memphis back into the game.

  Peter Kessler, Golf
The golf historian and broadcaster gives us a few guys that are flying under the radar that could win the Masters like Zach Johnson did last year. Peter likes KJ Choi as his sleeper pick to win.

  Andy Glockner, NCB
Andy helps us break down the matchups from San Antonio. Andy likes the individual battle between Joey Dorsey and Kevin Love. One member of SportsNation asks Andy what the weaknesses are for the Tigers and if the Bruins can exploit them.

  Tim Griffin, NCB
Tim is looking forward to watching this Final Four more than any other he can remember. The team and individual matchups are so good, but his favorite individual duel is Joey Dorsey against Kevin Love. Tim would like to see a UNC-UCLA matchup.

  Fernando Vina, ESPN
Fernando warns SN not to panic this early in the MLB season. He thinks the AL East parity is most likely to continue throughout the year. Toronto and Tampa are better than a year ago and Boston and New York are who they are. He answers a few questions from the Nation.

  Fran Fraschilla, CBB
Fran says low post play will be the deciding factor in this year's Final Four. Fran says Kansas' guards will rise to the challenge against North Carolina, but role players like Sasha Kaun will need to step up even more to contain Tyler Hansbrough.

  Todd McShay, CFB
Todd agrees with SportsNation and says Chris and Jake Long are by far the safest picks in the top five. If Todd had to choose between the two he'd go with Chris because he is so versatile. He tells SportsNation why Matt Ryan is the riskiest of the bunch.

  Buster Olney, MLB
Buster says Kosuke Fukudome was the most impressive player on Opening Day. Sticking with the Cubs, he feels that Kerry Wood will be a good closer for Chicago despite injury problems in the past. Buster expects the Braves' pitching staff to be stellar.

  Chris Broussard, NBA
Chris says every one of the college players we listed should leave early, but he thinks Tyler Hansbrough will be mediocre at best in the NBA. Chris says Kevin Garnett will be under the most pressure to perform in this postseason.

  Tim Kurkjian, MLB
Tim doesn't think the Royals' 1-0 start means they're making the postseason, but he does think they'll be much better in 2008. Tim is looking forward to a great division race in the AL Central between the Tigers and Indians.

  Eric Young, MLB
Eric is holding off on giving Johan Santana the Cy Young award. He says there's always an adjustment period when you switch leagues. He loves the NL Central race between the Brewers and Cubs and he thinks the Rockies will continue to roll.

  Andy Glockner, NCB
Andy says UCLA's second half meltdown could affect them against Xavier tomorrow. He says what conference a team is from will have little or no effect at this point in the tournament. As for Tennessee, Andy says they were lucky to get where they got.

  Todd McShay, CFB
Todd believes Bill Parcells is solely responsible for the smokescreen surrounding the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft. If Todd had to trade into the top five for anyone it would be Matt Ryan, but he'd rather not.

  Steve Lavin, NCB
Steve thinks Xavier's balance was the most impressive thing he saw in last night's games. Their game against UCLA will be a very close matchup of two teams who get great play from four or five guys on any given night.

  Fran Fraschilla, NCB
Fran agrees with SportsNation and thinks Wisconsin will be the team to corral Stephen Curry with a good defensive guard in Michael Flowers. Coach says UCLA has cruised to the Elite Eight on their defense, but they're going to need more offense now.

  Andy Katz, ESPN.com
Katz says Tennessee should be confident against Louisville, but he thinks they're the most vulnerable No. 1 seed. He says Wash. St. will get beat up by Tyler Hansbrough. Xavier will continue to look great on the defense against West Virginia. Andy likes UCLA in the West. Kansas is the only contender in the Midwest.

  Chris Sheridan, ESPN.com
Sheridan wrote a great article on ESPN.com this morning on the NBA's MVP race. Chris Paul had 20 assists last night and Kevin Garnett scored 30 for the Celtics vs. Phoenix. Kobe picked up two technicals, yet SN still votes him MVP. KG is now ahead of LeBron.

  Doug Gottlieb, ESPN
Gottlieb agrees that Tennessee has to be the most vulnerable top seed left amongst the Sweet 16. Chris Lofton's health may come into play tonight and Louisville can match the Vols with depth. Doug doesn't think coaching experience is a big deal at this point.

  Mel Kiper Jr.
Mel knows why 54% of SportsNation voted the Dolphins as the NFL team with the most to gain in this year's draft. But he says the Broncos are in the best position to improve this year. Mel thinks Matt Ryan can be a franchise quarterback.

  Tim Welsh, NCB
Tim knows West Virginia and Villanova are as good as anyone. Coach says Villanova has a daunting task because they'll have to run the clock and play great defense against an athletic and well coached Kansas lineup.

  Pete Thamel, NCB
Pete isn't betting against Tom Izzo and Michigan St., especially against a shaky Memphis team. Plus, Pete tells you why Washington St. can beat North Carolina and Louisville can bounce Tennessee because their depth is second to none amongst the Sweet 16.

  Rick Carlisle, NBA
Rick knows why people have lost faith in the Mavs of late, but he urges you to look at the Suns. They've finally gelled with Shaq, and maybe Dallas will learn to survive without Dirk. Rick takes you through the Western Conference contenders.

  Tom Brennan, NCB
Tom knows why America's looking forward to Tennessee-Louisville. Plus, coach likes Michigan St. to beat a sloppy Memphis team, Washington St. to beat North Carolina and West Virginia to knock out Xavier.

  Andy Glockner, NCB
Andy says despite Duke and Georgetown losing, USC is his biggest disappointment from the first two rounds. He was surprised UConn lost to San Diego, even with A.J. Price going down early. He thinks West Virginia has the most momentum of the suprise teams.

  Tim Legler, NBA
Tim says the Mavericks' playoff hopes aren't looking good at the moment. As for the playoff-hopeful Nuggets, Tim thinks it's awful that Carmelo Anthony doesn't even try to play defense. He goes on to say coach George Karl has done an awful job this year.

  Hubert Davis, NCB
Hubert believes his Tarheels are clicking on all cylinders and he feels they're without a doubt the team to beat after the first weekend. Western Kentucky and Davidson have the most momentum because they feel like world beaters now.

  Tom Brennan, ESPN
Joining us in studio, Pittsburgh is as good when their opponent has the ball as they have it. And when Lavance Fields is on the floor, it's hard to deal with the Panthers.

  Andy Glockner, ESPN.com
Joining us in studio, Andy says the action hasn't been too exciting so far. He hopes USC and K-State can live up to the hype with Mayo and Beasley. Andy says watch out for Siena maybe beating Vandy. He wonders why Clemson isn't getting attention.

  Fran Fraschilla, NCB
Fran says all five of our 'trendy' teams have a chance to make the Final Four, but Louisville has the best chances of actually getting there. He loves the inside out style of play they've developed and Rick Pitino is a good coach.

  Gottlieb And Simmons
Doug Gottlieb is looking forward to tomorrow's first rounder between Arizona and West Virginia, and thinks both may give Duke a scare in the second round. Plus, Bill Simmons phones in to brag about his Celtics and talks NCAA tournament.

  Doug Gottlieb, NCB
Doug says out of the four 'mid-major' first round matchups, the winner of Butler and South Alabama is most likely to make a run to the Elite Eight. He also says Pittsburgh will give Memphis a scare in the round of sixteen.

  Pete Thamel, NCB
Pete thinks UCLA may be in hot water when they get to the second round. He says the inside games of Texas A&M and BYU could neutralize Kevin Love and give the 8-9 seed a shot at the upset. Plus, Pete is rooting for Memphis and Pittsburgh to meet.

  Andy Glockner, NCB
Andy goes over all three of our college hoops polls of the day and takes some questions from SportsNation. He believes Butler's Mike Green will be a household name after all is said and done, and he tells you who his trendy Final Four team is.

  Pat Forde, NCB
While Pat doesn't think that any 16-seeds will win, he does think that Cornell may give Stanford a good game because of the Cardinal's lack of solid guard play.

  Hubert Davis, NCB
Hubert let us know that O.J. Mayo and Michael Beasley have what it takes to carry their teams deep in the tournament like Carmelo Anthony did with Syracuse. Unfortunately, one of them will not get out of the first round.

  Tim Griffin, NCB
Tim watched Kansas win the Big XII tournament and thinks that they have a great chance to win the NCAA tournament and that the players and coaches still remember that they lost to Bucknell and Bradley in the first round.

  Digger Phelps, NCB
Digger gives us an update on college basketball as Selection Sunday nears. He says it's all about advancing in conference tournaments today for bubble teams.

  Andy Glockner, NCB
Andy says Virginia Tech still needs to do more to get into the Big Dance, but they still have a chance. Plus, is Kentucky a lock to make the tournament? Andy is not so sure, but it's looking better and better.

  Jamal Mashburn
The NBA analyst talks college baskeball. Will his Kentucky Wildcats make the NCAA tournament field?

  Andy Katz, NCB
Andy updates the latest on who's in and who's out of the NCAA tournament.

  Hubert Davis, CBB
Hubert says UMass has a great chance to win the Atlantic-10 Tournament despite being a bubble team. Hubert thinks Kentucky should get in the big dance based on their second-half surge. Virginia Commonwealth will get in despite losing in the CAA tourney.

  Rick Carlisle, NBA
Carlisle says Yao Ming's injury lowered the bar for Tracy McGrady and the Rockets. They're a team playing with house money. Rick adds that Yao going down can't be viewed as a good thing because he's one of the top three centers in the league.

  Pat Forde, CBB
Pat thinks that Tennessee has the most to gain by making a run in their conference tournament. The Vols have a good resume. They did lose to Kentucky, but their only other losses were on the road to Texas and Vanderbilt.

  Greg Anthony, NBA
Doc Rivers is Greg's choice for coach of the year. Teams bring in star players to play together all the time, but it doesn't always work. In Boston, Ray Allen, KG and Paul Pierce have gelled since the beginning of the season.

  Andy Glockner, NCB
Andy tells us that Syracuse is the perfect description of "on the bubble" because they are literally the team that could win a game or two in the Big East and get in, or lose first round and be out.

  Jayson Stark, MLB
Jayson says the NL contender he thinks has the most concerns is the Mets because of how many different starters have been injured during spring training. He also thinks it's amazing that SportsNation says the Cubs are the second biggest concern.

  Willie Randolph, Mets
Willie just finished watching Pedro Martinez pitch a simulated game and is encouraged by what he saw. He is looking forward to the young bats to carry them through the regular season.

  Will Perdue, NBA
Will believes that Chris Paul is most valuable to his team and believes that he has done much more to improve his team from year-to-year than Kobe and LeBron. Will is a big fan of the New Orleans Hornets and sees them going far in the playoffs.

  Sandy Alomar Jr., Mets
The Mets' catching instructor feels that his team will be back at full strength when they need it. Sandy is confident that they will be back in contention for the NL East and Billy Wagner will be ready to close for the team.

  Jay Bilas, NCB
Jay will be at North Carolina-Duke all day tomorrow leading up to the game and he helps us look at some bubble teams including Arizona. Jay says that they are peaking at the right time and will be dangerous in the Pac-10 Tournament.

  Eric Wedge, Indians Manager
Wedge sees a squad that, even though they are defending AL Central champs, has a lot of work to get back to the success of last season. Eric is excited about the possibilities of his pitching staff and the maturity from a very young team last year.

  Grady Sizemore, Indians OF
Sizemore is using last year's early playoff exit as motivation for this year. His team is a little older but still very youthful, and Grady wants to improve his output this season.

  John Clayton, ESPN.com
Clayton calls Brett Favre a common person who makes fans feel closer to him. The Packers will not be as good a team with Aaron Rodgers at QB. Will the Eagles get a top flight wide receiver before the draft? John says chances are slim.

  J.A. Adande, NBA
Adande thinks the Suns are now struggling even more that Shaq is a part of their team. It is hampering the style of Steve Nash because Shaq's presence has cut down on the space in which he has to work.

  Derek Jeter, Yankees
Orestes and John spent the day at Yankees camp today rubbing elbows with the biggest names in pinstripes. They first caught up with Derek Jeter, who tells us that Joe Girardi is doing a great job, but it's definitely been weird without Joe Torre.

  Oscar Dixon, NBA
Oscar Dixon checks in on our NBA poll question and says the Pistons are the team that is built to win an NBA championship.

  Jason Giambi, Yankees
Jason says that winning a ring is the No. 1 priority he has. Not just at a personal level, but he wants to help the Yankees win one. He says Girardi is keeping camp loose and keeps everyone working hard. He says he'd much rather play 1st base than DH.

  Fran Fraschilla, CBB
Fran tells us that he's not sure that any of the five teams on our poll (Arizona, Arkansas, Kentucky, Ohio State and New Mexico) will get into the Big Dance, but each of them still have time to impress the committee.

  Mark Teixeira, Braves
Mark is in his first spring training on the Braves after being traded there last season. He talks about how nice it is that there are a handful of guys from Georgia that get to play for their hometown team. He also talks about manager Bobby Cox.

  Phillies' Howard, Rollins
Ryan Howard and Jimmy Rollins were the MVP's in the National League over the past few seasons. Who will win this year? They'd like to either share the award or share it with teammate Chase Utley. Jimmy says there's no "following up" on their playoff run of last year because it's a new season. Ryan knows they were injured a lot last year and now they know their bench is experienced and ready to help again.

  W. Henderson, Packers
William tells us he started hearing rumors that Brett Favre was going to retire but he didn't want to believe it until he actually heard it from Brett. He told us stories about Brett including how he would relax a "tense" huddle, or how he'd break in rookies or keep "one week" stars down to earth.

  Gary Sheffield, Tigers
Tigers OF Gary Sheffield says it's nice to get back on the field after hearing about Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens all winter. He is excited about how many fastballs he should get with the stacked lineup, and begs us not to forget the Tigers pitching staff.
