 James Loney, Dodgers 1B
Loney discusses the addition of Manny Ramirez, how fun it's been with him in the lineup and a more electric feeling in the park this weekend since the trade. Loney says there are some quality pitchers in the AL West.

 Jayson Stark, MLB
After hearing from Yankees GM Brian Cashman, our Jayson Stark says the baggage and media circus would make it a bad idea for New York to go after Barry Bonds. Joe Blanton will give the Phillies some much needed innings.

 Ric Bucher, NBA
While Elton Brand certainly helps, Bucher thinks the Sixers still need a perimeter shooter to make them a contender. It'll be interesting to see how Maurice Cheeks mixes and matches his pieces. Ric also talks about James Posey and the Spurs.

 Jody McDonald, 950 ESPN
The signing of Elton Brand is a big deal, seeing as the Sixers appeared to have big interest in Josh Smith. Boston and Detroit are still the East favorites. While he won't be Moses Malone, Brand won't be a bust like Chris Webber was.

 Tim Kurkjian, MLB
Kurkjian says you have to play to win now, and the Brewers acquiring CC Sabathia was a "slam dunk" good move. He likes the Brewers and Rays' rotations. Tim talks about All-Star voting and other teams that will likely make moves (Cubs, Phillies, Dodgers).

 Luke Jensen, Wimbledon
Luke talks about how Roger Federer adjusted during the rain delay to make the Wimbeldon Men's Final against Rafael Nadal a battle. Jensen says it was dark, discusses Nadal's game and says Rafael is best in the world right now. Federer has to improve.

 Tim Ceis, Seattle Deputy Mayor
Ceis reacts with sadness that the Sonics are leaving Seattle after 41 years. However, he's happy the door remains open to get a team back. Key Arena needs renovations, and there is a local ownership group in place to help with the process.

 Berry Tramel, Daily Oklahoman
Tramel describes Oklahoma City's reaction to getting the Sonics. He credits local leaders and thinks the team needs to get moving quickly with four months to prepare. An NBA team in Oklahoma City helps the economy more than it would in Seattle.

 Bill Johnson, 540 ESPN Radio
Johnson is surprised that reaction is split between those who want Brett Favre back and those who don't. He thought most would want the veteran QB to return. The Packers haven't reacted and likely want to move on with Aaron Rodgers.

 Evan Longoria, Rays 3B
Longoria (3-4, three RBI) talks about sweeping the Red Sox and how Tropicana Field in finally a true home field advantage for Tampa Bay. He'd be thrilled to get named an AL All-Star.

 Ric Bucher, NBA
Ric expects Elton Brand to remain Baron Davis' teammate with the Clippers. Bucher also talks about Gilbert Arenas' new contract. Is he worth $21 million per year?

 Jayson Stark, MLB
Jayson discusses the firings of John McLaren in Seattle and Willie Randolph by the Mets, is looking forward to Cubs-White Sox this weekend and talks about the streaking Yankees and Brewers.

 Mark Soltau, Golf Digest
Soltau thinks Tiger's injury is a wake-up call for the PGA Tour. It'll be scary if Tiger comes back even better, but he'll be motivated to do so. Mark recaps the U.S. Open, calling it one of the top five all-time best moments. How long will Tiger play?

 Ric Bucher, NBA
Ric was most impressed by the versatility of the Celtics bench, which was key to Boston's title. Doc Rivers deserves credit. Ric thinks the Celtics need to comtinue letting their role players develop and see how the Big Three respond to defend the crown.

 Eddie House, Celtics
House (nine points, 16 minutes) has a hard time putting into words what it means to be NBA champion. He thinks this was the Celtics most complete game. They tried not to fall into an early hole in Game 6. He appreciates the history and special moments.

 Steve Phillips, MLB
Steve discusses the Mets' firing of Willie Randolph and how it was handled awkwardly. He also thinks that Hank Steinbrenner needs a filter for his mouth because like Ozzie Guillen, you never know what's going to come out.

 Jerry Crasnick, MLB
Crasnick says Ken Griffey, Jr. is in an elite class. He's been graceful throughout his career and is loved and respected, too. Crasnick doesn't see him staying with the Reds. Maybe he'll end up in Seattle. Plus, Cubs or White Sox -- who's better?

 Mark Schlereth, NFL
As tough as we've been on Terrell Owens, Mark says we should praise him for how well he's behaved in Dallas. Schlereth says some in the Bengals organization are tired of Chad Johnson's act. Speaking of acting, Jason Taylor shouldn't forget his roots.

 Buck Showalter, MLB
Showalter breaks down Joba Chamberlain's start and stresses how important it is to protect a team's investments by not rushing a young pitcher with a lot of innings. It's difficult when you're in the middle of a pennant race.

 Tim Kurkjian, MLB
Tim talks about how tough it's going to be for the Red Sox to replace David Ortiz. He also addresses Ozzie's latest rant, Joba Chamberlain in the Yankees starting rotation, the Cubs start, and if Johan Santana is the same pitcher as the past few years.
